My goal with this was to create a game ready asset. During this process I learned a lot of new techniques such as how to use floating geometry, how to bake a Highpoly mesh onto a low poly efficiently, and many other things about the workflow of creating a game asset.

Final Model.

For the fourth and final week I refined my textures and rendered this image in Iray. this is the final version of my model.

The second week I created a game res version of my model and baked my Highres model onto my Gameres in substance painter. This version was not a very successful bake but I was able to fix it before the end of the third week.

My first week working on this model was used by creating a blockout and a high res model. This is more of a blockout because I hadn't smoothed this model out yet and some proportions have changed from this model, such as the magazine.
